We acknowledge the historical and current practices that make access to healthcare a barrier to many people. As a business, we have set up multiple ways to make our care accessible. We operate under a tiered payment structure for our private practice offerings.

60 minutes: $75
90 minutes: $120
120 minutes: $150
Tier 2:
60 minutes: $90
90 minutes: $150
120 minutes: $190

Insurance reimbursements
We can provide you with a monthly medical service invoice that you can use as a bill for seeking insurance reimbursements through your private health insurance. Each plan is different and you will need to consult your private health insurance company for specific reimbursement information. We do not bill private health insurance directly. Please reach out through email. We can provide a PDF guide to walk you through the process.

Most private health insurance will cover a percentage of Claira’s out-of-network services. Your specific plan will dictate what percentage.
Medicare and Medicaid unfortunately do not cover out of network massage therapy.

Payment of each session is due in full at the time of service when working with Claira. You will then be reimbursed at a later date once your insurance has approved your reimbursement claim.
Accepting HSa and FSA cards
We accept and encourage clients to use HSA and FSA cards. Highly recommend reading this article if you are not sure what these forms of payment are and are curious on how to make health related expenses more economical to you and your needs.
Claira’s private practice partakes in a community subsidized health initiative in partnership with Orcas Resource Center and Healing Arts Center.
